I came across this mascara a week ago. I am absolutely in love with it! I was on the hunt for a mascara that was, are you ready for it, DRY. The mascara I was using before was very wet. I am someone that LOVES false lashes and I do mascara them slightly on every use. I found that a wetter mascara was making the false lashes look plasticy. So I tried to find one that made them appear to be more “feathered.” By using a dryer mascara did just that. Also, when I applied this to my own lashes first they stayed “UP.” Usually when I would curl my lashes and then mascara them they would be so weighed down and lose the curl I just made. If there is one thing I would change about this mascara it would be the wand. I am a fan of smaller wands and this one is very large. But I really don’t care because I LOVE IT! Definitely try it out!
This was a make up I did for my friend Danielle. Perfect for day or night. An easy way to transform a make up into more of an evening look is to add a bit more “darkness” into the crease area and strip of false lashes. Here I used a blend of MAC shadows in sketch and typographic with a #224 and #217 brush. Typographic added the darkness and sketch added a hint of purple which made Danielle’s blue eyes pop! Add a little contour and highlight to the face along with a soft peach blush and a neutral gloss and you’re good to go.
Welcome to my blog! My goal for this blog is to share anything related to beauty. Whether it be tips and tricks of make up applications, reviewing products, styles of celebrities I love, as well as Red Carpet looks. I love the transformation of make up and hair and I truly believe that if you look good you feel great. We get most of our inspiration from what we see on celebrities. I never get a client that doesn’t pull out a picture they snap shotted of a photo they found on pinterest or instagram of a celebrity whose style they love. Yes, I do the same thing. I love seeing a look on the red carpet and re-creating it with my own style. Please let me know if you want me to talk about anything specifically or have any questions regarding your own make up techniques! I look forward to hearing from you! 🙂
